Applications are being accepted through March 13th for an open position with the Evergreen Shores Beach Club Board of Directors.

Please complete an ESBC BOD Volunteer Application (linked above) and return via email to Community First Association Management, Attn: Claire Richmond, clairer@communityfirstam.com. Or return it via standard mail to 3721 Griffin Lane, SE., Ste. 201, Olympia, WA 98501.

The Board of Directors meets in person every other month in a meeting open to homeowners at the clubhouse. We are responsible for maintaining and improving the resources in the park, including the clubhouse and outdoor cook shed. Additionally, we make sure that the Evergreen Shores Homeowners Association is getting cost-effective management services, insurance coverage, and that we manage finances so all association financial commitments can be met. We also organize community events.

In the past year, we have invested in needed maintenance and updates for the clubhouse, park, and dock. Users of the clubhouse can now enjoy remodeled bathrooms, new appliances in the kitchen, new energy-efficient windows, and new flooring and lighting. Additionally, we have installed ramps and walkways to make the clubhouse more accessible to individuals with mobility impairments.

We cleared out a number of alder trees that were in danger of falling, paved the road through the park to the beach, and worked with a volunteer group to rehabilitate portions of the dock.

During the past year we have improved our community amenities considerably and have brought community events back to the neighborhood, including the Children’s Egg Hunt, Community Clean-up Week, and Spring Fling.

We encourage you to apply for the open position on the Board of Directors if you would like to help continue the improvement of our community amenities and community togetherness. Please contact Claire Richmond, Association Manager, if you have any questions about the board or applying for this open position.
